Kazimiera Drozdowska
Born in Zalischyky on 6 February 1927. Her father was Polish, her mother was Ukrainian. Her father was a shoemaker, her mother kept house and offered accommodation to holidaymakers in summer. Kazimiera Drozdowska’s parents divorced, and her father left for Poland after World War II. Kazimiera Drozdowska attended a Polish primary school in Zalischyky; after the war she finished night secondary school. During the war she worked for the local office, then for a bank and a textile factory. She lives in Zalischyky. Her two children have left for Poland for good.
